Hyun Lee

COACH

Coach Hyun Lee, a Korea Championship medalist in epee and foil, developed her fencing skills through years of competition in Korea. During high school, she fenced for Daejeon Girls’ High School, where she won the National Athletic Competition and earned several other national medals. She later contributed as a team leader at the Korean National Senior Championship, placed second at the Presidential Fencing Championship, and received an Achievement Award as a member of the professional Daejeon City Hall Fencing Team. Coach Hyun built her coaching experience by training epee and foil fencers at Hoedeok Middle School and Daejeon Girls’ High School in Korea. In 2015, she joined Penta Olympic Fencing Club, where she coached for eight years, working with students of all levels and helping many fencers achieve podium finishes at regional and national competitions. She also spent two years coaching at VA Apex Fencing Club.
